On Thursday 5 July 2007, 30 cubs and scouts from Woolwich District volunteered to take part in a Pyramid Painting Project at the Dome, this is to celebrate the Tutankhamun's exhibition opening in October at the Dome.

Val and 7 cubs from the 13th Woolwich met at 8.00 AM at the Co-op. We then took the bus to met up with the rest of Woolwich District. There were over 1,000 children from different organisations, mostly schools taking part in the project. We were all
 given yellow t-shirts to wear.

As you can see from the pictures we all looked very smart. The idea was each table had a canvas of Hieroglyphics to paint. It was very much a Team effort. Lunch was provided by the O2.

The children were all presented with a tin and a goodie bag. We then took the children to a park so they could run off a bit steam before arriving back to Abbey Wood at 3.30 pm.
